Matt Doyle, born and raised in New York, became interested in photography at the age of 18 when his older sister, a film student at New York University, graduated, and passed her camera equipment on to him, having decided to become a chef.
His early photography inspirations range from the works of Sebastian Salgado and Sara Moon to Irving Penn and Paolo Roversi.
Doyle, as his friends know him, strives to create iconic and reflective images. He says people through culture and music stir his passion and keeps him enthusiastic about photography.
